HEAT IS ON THIS WEEK!

If you’ve been hoping for a break from the Texas heat, I have some bad news, the summer sunshine is sticking around! This week will be mostly hot, dry, and sunny, with afternoon temperatures climbing from the upper 90s early in the week to around 103– 104 by the weekend. The hottest days look to be Wednesday through Sunday, so if you’re spending time outside, be sure to drink plenty of water, take breaks in the shade, and don’t forget the sunscreen. It’s also a good week to check on pets and livestock to make sure they have plenty of fresh water and a cool place to escape the heat. Rain chances will be very slim this week, so don’t expect much relief. As always; don’t be scared, be prepared!
