This year’s Texas theme was “Unearth a Story” and our library added a subtitle, “God Bless America: Celebrating our 250th Birthday!”
Gifted pianist, Roy Don Rodgers, started each day with a different patriotic song and explained a little about the song and the songwriter. This was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and the reading of a patriotic book. Bella Jackson led “The Days of Creation” song (which I should know by churches “Unearthed a Story” from the Bible.
