Hot, Hotter, and Even Hotter to Come

If you were hoping for cooler weather this week, I’m afraid Eastland County has other plans. It looks like we’re in for plenty of sunshine, heat and a little bit of that famous Texas breeze! All week, we will see mostly sunny skies, with temperatures climbing to the high 90s. Friday will bring clear, sunny skies, with temperatures reaching the triple digits. The good news is that we should have a nice breeze to help us out. Saturday will stay mostly sunny, with that breeze continuing. Sunday may bring a few clouds, but it will still be dry and hot. Looking ahead to next week, well, folks, triple digit temperatures could be here all week long! Keep the water bottles handy, take plenty of breaks if you are working or playing outside, and remember to look after your animals in the heat. As I always say, don’t be scared, be prepared!
