In response to your “Tidbits” in the March 23, 2023 ECT Newspaper: I am one of “the others”!
I registered as a Democrat when I responded to the “Invitation” from President Eisenhower to sign up for the Draft during the Korean Conflict. I have never changed that registration. But, though I have voted in every Presidential election since I have been eligible to vote except one, I have never voted for a Democratic nominee for President (for 66 years!). I would have voted for Carter the time I missed, but I was working overseas and messed up my absentee ballot application. After President Carter’s disastrous administration, I wasn’t sorry I didn’t vote for him!
