RANGER, Texas — A familiar face is returning to the sidelines at Ranger College, as former head coach Bill Foy has been named head coach of the Rangers women’s basketball program.
Foy returns to Ranger College after previously leading the women’s basketball program for four seasons. “I’m excited to be back at Ranger College and to have the opportunity to lead this program again,” Foy said. “I have a lot of great memories from my time here, and I’m looking forward to getting to work with our players and preparing for the upcoming season.”
Ranger College Athletic Director Scott Norwood said bringing Foy back provides the program with a proven coach whose résumé and reputation speak for themselves. “We’re extremely excited to have Coach Foy back at Ranger College,” Norwood said. “His reputation, professionalism and coaching ability are exemplary, and his history of success speaks for itself. Bill has been successful everywhere he has been, and kind of coach and person he is. We’re fortunate to have someone with his experience and track record leading our women’s basketball program.”
