County Commissioners, along with County Judge David Hullum voted unanimously to adopt the Fiscal Year 2027 budget at the Monday, August 24, 2026 meeting.
“This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $573,218.37, which is a 5.7312% increase from last year’s budget, and of that amount $128,827.76 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year,” official county
records state.
