4-H Kicks Off New Program Year In Eastland County

Eastland County, Texas– A new 4-H year is underway across Texas, and youth are encouraged to join the nation’s largest youth development organization as enrollment opens for the 2026-2027 program year.

Texas 4-H, a program of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, provides young people with opportunities to develop leadership, citizenship, and life skills through hands-on learning experiences. Members can participate in a wide variety of projects in the areas of Agriculture and Livestock, Family and Community Health, Leadership and Citizenship, Natural Resources, and STEM.

“4-H offers youth the chance to discover their passions, develop confidence, and gain valuable skills that will out their lives,” said FCH County Extension Agent, “Whether a young person is interested in science, agriculture, leadership, or the arts, there is a place for them in 4-H.”
