Brandi Faulkner Seeks to Give CC Library New Multi-Purposes

There was a time when college libraries were a place of enforced silence, with no chatting, no drinks or snacks – just research and studying and shhh-ushing.

With the advent of technology that allows students to do all their library research on their laptops, able to access the totality of information in the library from their dorm rooms or homes, the space inside college libraries is taking on a new functionality.

Cisco College’s new Director of Libraries, Brandi Faulkner, is well aware of the changes and is making it her mission to make library space on the Cisco and Abilene campuses more functional for students as well as the community.
