The “Day of Cham pions” will soon be here! On Saturday, September 12, volunteers and willing workers will meet at the Ron Butler Basketball Gymnasium at 7:30 AM for Ranger College’s annual community clean-up project.
This is the day when the Ranger College, the City of Ranger, and ordinary citizens work together for the betterment of our hometown.
Here are some details: Once again, rolloff dumpsters will be located at the old Head-Start property (former home to our Ranger High School) and drivers will enter off of Elm Street. Able-bodied college students will assist in unloading. Recyclable metals will be separated and collected at this location. Brush will be hauled to the City’s Collection Station (past Tiffin Road, formerly known as the “Dump Ground”). FREE – this is the word on brush. No tires this year.
