by Priscilla Bettis Congratulations to all the winners in Cisco Writers Club’s 50th Annual Writing Contest! Awards were given on September 3, 2026, at the Myrtle Wilks Community Center. Shann Tajiah, the club’s president, provided the lovely decor, and Ruth York, the contest’s chairwoman, presided over the ceremony.
First, second, and third place in the Adventures in Writing category for writers 15 years and younger went to Johanna Huit, “Snorkeling in Paradise,” Ellie Armstrong, “The Little Blue Jay,” and Noor Wind, “The Twinkle Stories,” respectively.
