Pacey McGinn and Chance Wells both rushed for three touchdowns on Friday and powered the Rising Star Wildcats to a 55-0 victory over cross-county rival Ranger.
With the victory, Rising Star improved to 3-1 heading into this week's showdown with Irion County. Ranger suffered its third straight loss and dropped to 1-3.
Rising Star, thanks in part to four Ranger fumbles, exploded offensively in the first quarter. They outscored the Bulldogs by a 32-0 clip in the first 10 minutes.
