Cisco College has a new Art Professor, Z. Miles Mayfield, who this fall is teaching Sculpture as well as Art Appreciation at both the Cisco and Abilene campuses.
A native of Hamlin, Mayfield was an adjunct Art Professor at McMurry University for the past 10 years and previously was a teaching assistant at the University of Texas at Tyler for three years.
He has a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at Tyler (2014) and a Bachelor of Arts from McMurry (2010). He is qualified to teach art history, design, basic drawing, 3-D design, multimedia, and painting, but his specialty is ceramics.
