GEDC Directors Report Shanda Morrison Director September 2026 The EDC received $12,360 in Sales Tax in September. The amount was split and deposited into 4A and 4B accounts, each $6180.00 1. Called and talked to HEB about coming to Gorman. Talked to a nice lady named Wendy and asked her if we were dreaming about getting a store to come to town. She said no. She asked me a lot of questions and said she would get my info into the right hands and they should be contacting me back in about two or three weeks. Also in contact with several more stores such as Aldi, Kroger, etc.
