Linda Carol Winkler Stroebel, 78, of Cisco, Texas, passed away on September 28, 2026, following a courageous two-and-a-half-year battle with multiple myeloma. Through every challenge she faced, Linda remained steadfast in faith and joyful in spirit. The words of Nehemiah 8:10, "The joy of the Lord is your strength," were written upon her heart and reflected in the way she lived.
Regardless of her circumstances, she approached each day and every task with a happy heart, quiet grace, and enduring joy.
Linda was born on November 4, 1947, in Temple, Texas, to Samuel Theodore Winkler and Mildred Urbantke Winkler. She was raised in the Lutheran Church, baptized on November 23, 1947, and confirmed in the faith in 1960.
