Charlie Rizzio Named Defensive Coordinator for Cisco College Wrangler Football Program
Cisco, Texas - April 10, 2022 – Cisco College is pleased to announce that Charlie Rizzio has been appointed the new Defensive Coordinator for Wrangler football. Rizzio brings his experience as serving as linebacker coach for Missouri Western State University from 2020-2022. During his time at MWSU, Rizzo coached three All-Conference linebackers.
Before his stint at MWSU, Rizzio served as an analyst at the University of Nevada, where he worked with Defensive Coordinator Jeff Castle and the linebackers. Rizzio has also worked at various other colleges throughout his career, including West Texas A&M, Southern Connecticut State University, Eastern New Mexico State University, and Yale.
Originally from Seymour, CT, Rizzio graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, MA, in 2006 with a degree in Computer Science.
