The Eastland High School boys’ and girls’ basketball teams both endured tough outings last Friday by dropping a doubleheader to Comanche.

The Eastland High School boys’ and girls’ basketball teams both endured tough outings last Friday by dropping a doubleheader to Comanche.

The Mavericks, despite a solid effort from several players, fell to 1-2 in district play with a 59-44 loss to Comanche.

After fighting their wat to within 14-10 in the first quarter, the Mavs’ luck hit the skids in the second quarter. Comanche posted a 1711 run in the frame and raced into the half with a 31-21 lead.
