What Is Predatory Publishing?
Cisco Writers Club invites you to join us at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 4, when we will tackle 'predatory publishing.' This will be in the Hilton Center, 309 Conrad Hilton Blvd., Cisco.
Nancy Robinson Masters of Abilene will discuss predatory publishing and other possible hazards in the publishing world. Nancy is the author of over 50 books, including award-winning selections for children. She has spoken to more than 300,000 students and teachers across America through her “Freedom to Read ‘em” Visiting Author programs. Her more the 3,000 feature articles have appeared in a variety of publications. Nancy grew up on a cotton farm in Jones County, Texas during terrible years of drought in the 1950s. She cred-its her success today to the values, patriotism, and work ethic instilled in her during difficult circumstances.
