EASTLAND – Wanda LaJoyce Mauney Hobbs, age 81, danced into the arms of the Lord, Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in Ranger, Texas. A visitation will be held 10-11:30 AM Friday, May 12th at Edwards Funeral Home Eastland; followed by a graveside service at Merriman Cemetery at noon.
Wanda was born in Gorman, Texas to the late Ina Malone Mauney and Sullivan Mauney. She married Robert Hilman Hobbs April 3, 1961 in Midland, Texas and they were together for 39 years before his passing, January 12, 2000. Wanda was a housewife and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Survivors are daughters, Cindy West (husband Blake) and Shannon Thompson (husband Tim); sisters, Georgie Hutson and Ima Jean Park; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and one great, great grandson.
