Hazel was most recently a very active member of Irving Baptist Fellowship, where she served as a Trustee. She also occasionally sang solos at her church. Hazel was employed at Golden Life Wellness Center of Texas as the Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, specializing in women’s health. Hazel was a lifelong avid reader. She spent many years serving as a troop leader with the Girl Scouts of America. She loved spending time with her large extended family, especially during the Christmas holidays.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Clara Hallmark and William Knight; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold A. Simpson and Mr. and Mrs. Noel V. Knight; a brother-in-law, Al Rogers; brother-in-law, Les Grieger; and a sisterin- law, Sherry Norris.
Hazel and Wallace departed this life the same way they lived it, together, as they both died at their home on the same day.
Hazel is survived by her children, son, John Grieger and wife, Tabitha, daughter, Kelli Grieger, and grandchildren, Julie Grieger, Justin Grieger, Abram Grieger, Silas Grieger, Austin Falin, Kaylyn Falin Laws, Justin Falin, Shelby Ann Peace, Kerwin Pittenger, and Laurel O’Brien.
