Lacy Melissa Faust Donohue

Born on January 23, 1985, in Corona, California, Lacy was the beloved daughter of Daniel Faust and Cynthia (Schreiner) Faust. Her life was one marked by compassion, strength, and a radiant love for those around her.
Lacy and Corey Donohue shared 22 years of marriage, Together they raised four children: Hazel Jade (20), Scarlette Rose (18), Luke James (15), and Violet Pearl (9). One of Lacy’s greatest joys came on July 2, 2024, when her daughter Hazel gave birth to Lacy’s first grandchild, Emerald Sage—bringing her heart immeasurable delight.
In October 2013, Lacy of life again, becoming a surrogate and bringing twin boys, Calvino and Luca, into the world. Her giving spirit knew no bounds.
Lacy was a dedicated UPS driver until two and a half years ago. Prior to that, she worked with heart and purpose at the VA Hospital in Wichita, Kansas, under Dr. Kramer. Her family and work family, at the VA and UPS, held a special place in her heart.
Lacy was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Jerry and Geroldean Faust; Papa, Jesse Schreiner; her aunt, Susan Farrel; her uncle, Jerry Faust; and her cousin, Sarah Farrel. She leaves behind a legacy through her husband Corey; her children Hazel, Scarlette, Luke, and Violet; her treasured granddaughter Emerald; her granny Patricia Schreiner; her brother Luke Faust and his wife Jamie; her father Daniel Faust and Yolanda; and her mother Cynthia Willis and husband Will. Lacy’s circle of love also extended to her “hockey family,” “VA family,” and “UPS family”—all of whom brought her immense joy and support throughout her life.
A celebration of Lacy’s life will be held on May 3, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Wichita Ice Center, 505 W. Maple St., Wichita, Kansas In true Lacy fashion. Private ice time will be held from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.—a nod to her love of Hockey and her vibrant spirit. If you skate, bring your skates and join us in honoring her memory on the ice.
Lacy’s life was a shining example of love, courage, and kindness. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
