She was born on September 27, 1949 in Clifton, Texas to Charles Warren Escue and Carol Jewel Massey Escue.

Janet was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was married to Clinton for 27 years.

She was reunited with father Charles Warren Escue, mother Carol Jewel Massey Escue, and step-daughter Kelly Power.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Clinton Eaton, sons’, Nick Charles Messenger and wife, Melanie Messenger, son, Duston Glen Messenger and wife, Shone Messenger; stepson, Christopher Ray Eaton and wife, Karen Eaton; grandchildren, Michelle Davis, Heather Cox, Lorna Copeland, Haleigh Messenger, Bryce Messenger, Daylon Ochoa, Harlee Messenger, Scarlet Messenger, Hunter Eaton and Blake Power; great nephew, Brandon Hogan and many great-grandchildren.

A memorial will be held on June 2, 2024 at 2:00PM at Ranger Church of God being officiated by Raymond Hamrick and Gerald Tomlin. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
