The Rising Star Wildcats won the District 14-1A DII championship with a convincing 61-16 win over the Panther Creek Panthers last Friday at Wildcat Stadium.
After an onsite kickoff to the Wildcat 39-yard line, Ethan Croft broke four tackles and raced into the endzone. He then kicked the PAT to give the Panthers a quick 8-0 with only 10 seconds gone on the clock.
The Wildcats quickly responded as Pacey McGinn grabbed the kickoff and cruised into the endzone nine seconds later. Kobey Morris’s PAT tied the score at 8 apiece.
