Savannah Fortenberry is New Ranger City Manager
Savannah Fortenberry was offered the position of Ranger City Manager following a called meeting held March 21, 2023. City Manager Gerald Gunstanson had presented his resignation to the commission some months prior, leaving the position unfilled.

Rangers advance to second round with win over Seminole State
Mykell Robinson knocked down two free throws with 19 seconds left in regulation on Tuesday afternoon and lifted the Ranger College men's basketball team to a 78-75 victory over Seminole State College in the opening round of the 2023 NJCAA Men's Division I National Basketball Championships. Robinson's free throw was part of a 41-point second-half performance by Ranger that broke open a 37-37 halftime deadlock.
