Kyndall Scitern pumped in 24 points and Delila Crain added 14 more last week and powered the Gorman Lady Panthers to an impressive 66-20 victory over the Priddy Lady Pirates in the Area round of the Class 1A girl’s state basketball playoffs.
Delila Crain scored a lot of points on Friday against the Gordon Lady Longhorns. None, however, were as important as the ones she threw in in the fourth quarter.
Delila Crain poured in a game-high 17 points and four other Gorman players added doubledigit performances last week and helped power the Lady Panthers to a decisive 75-17 rout of Three Way Ranked No. 8 in the latest Texas Girls Coaches Association poll, the Lady Panthers wrapped up its 26th win early. Gorman outscored Three Way by a 19-0 clip in the opening eight minutes of the contest.
The Gorman Lady Panthers took a major step toward nailing down a berth in the Class A state playoffs last week by grinding out a pair of impressive wins. Gorman moved to 5-1 in district play with wins over Bluff Dale and Strawn.
The Gorman High School Lady Panthers found the perfect way to wash away the memories of their first loss of the 2022-23 basketball season by upending the Gordon Lady Longhorns in overtime on Dec. 30.
