World Champions in Cisco Have Bought Terry Bradshaw’s Ranch in Oklahoma
Ed Pet Brown, who was head of the crew that laid the brick for the brick streets in Cisco beginning in 1919, held the Middleweight Wrestling World Championship Belt. More recently, Billy and Suzzone Franks, who own ranch land where Eastland and Callahan counties meet, have won 13 Halter Quarter Horse World Championships and 9 Paint Horse Halter World Championships. Their trophy room is fantastic. They are selling their Three Nails Ranch on the Scranton Exit Road off of I20 and have bought Terry Bradshaw's Ranch near Thackerville, Oklahoma. Bradshaw, another World Champion, led his team to 4 Superbowl Championships.

Cisco Livestock Show Results
The Cisco Livestock Show was held on January 6, 2023, at the Cisco ISD Project Center. Tom Farmer, vocational agriculture teacher from Eula, judged the show. The Cisco Livestock Show Association distributed almost $2,600 in prize money to the show exhibitors. Numerous individuals and businesses also contributed banners and travel bags to champions, reserve champions, and showmanship contest winners. The stock show would not have been possible without the hard work of the exhibitors, their parents, and school officials. The Association appreciates the tireless efforts of our local vocational agriculture teachers, Ginger Holton and Jerry Conring, in putting on the stock show and supporting the local FFA chapter members in their many endeavors.
