A Prayer for our Salvation
Heavenly Father, I believe you are God. You are the Creator of Heaven and Earth. You are the God of eternity. You are the ‘Lover’ of my soul. 01/19/2023 12:00 AM
What is Faith?
What is Faith?
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. {Ephesians 2:8, 9} Moses was forty years old when he fled Egypt for fear of his life. Forty years later he came back to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. What had changed? He had made his great decision. He concluded that faith and truth in company with agony and hardship were better than wealth and fame and the absence of God’s love. Few men in history have been called upon to make a more difficult decision than his. 01/19/2023 12:00 AM

1968 “TET” and the Aftermath
As January neared its end, an offensive was beginning near the DMZ where a string of artillery, rocket and ground attacks were unleashed on Allied posts all along the buffer zone. Khe Sanh and neighboring Lang Wei were hit hard, beginning a three-month drama that would focus the eyes of the world on a small marine garrison in the rolling hills of the Laotian border country. 01/19/2023 12:00 AM

The Big Picture
The Big Picture
From my youth, I was taught to get the “Big Picture” regarding things in life. “There is always more than meets the eye.” “There is always more beneath the surface.” “Pay attention to details because something is hidden in what may appear small.” 01/12/2023 12:00 AM
Texas, Don’t Become Crazy California
Texas, Don’t Become Crazy California
Did you know that California used to be a conservative state, more so than Texas? They had Ronald Reagan for governor. Once he wasn’t governor anymore., it started going south. San Francisco began to dictate policy. Conservatives and Christians didn’t push back. San Francisco pushed the LGBT agenda and took God out of our schools under the guise of “Freedom of Religion.” 01/12/2023 12:00 AM
