The Rising Star Lady Wildcats and Coach Shelly Hash opened their 2017-18 1A District 15 schedule last week on the road against the Lady Mountaineers of Santa Anna.
The Rising Star High School basketball program hosted their own basketball tournament this past weekend.

The Rising Star Lady Wildcats won their first two games in the Lueders-Avoca Tournament this past weekend, placing them in the championship game against 2A Hawley.
