RANGER, Texas Kathryn Cameron, a former Ranger College student, has been named to the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) 2024 All-Texas Academic Team. Cameron has since transferred to Texas Wesleyan University and plans to continue her education.

Slowpoke Farm offers Free Gardening Class Sunday, Feb. 25th
Slowpoke Farm has been gardening, chemical free, in Eastland county for over 20 years. After selling at farmer’s markets for 15 years, and running a small restaurant in Cisco for 5 years, Kerry and Joy Hedges have slowed things down a notch. While they have downsized the farm, they still enjoy sharing their experiences and ‘lessons learned’ with others.

John Guandolo, the president and founder of Understanding the Threat can inform us, Mr. Guandolo graduated from the Naval Academy, served in the Marines, is a combat veteran, a special agent to the FBI and has experience analyzing the Islamic threat. John Guandolo teaches about terrorism in our streets in our homeland. Mr. Guandolo spoke with the Tea Party Patriots of Eastland county in November 2020. Feb. 28th is Old Rip Day in Eastland County
Celebrated annually to commemorate the TRUE FACT that Old Rip was taken out of the Eastland County Courthouse cornerstone, marking some 31 years he spent sealed in there. Publicity is going out, so we all should acknowledge the fact that OLD RIP lived sealed for a long, long time, but is brought out on this Special Day to mark his UNENTOMBMENT.
