Faced with the very real possibility that many fans will choose to stay away from the football fields during the ongoing pandemic, the University Interscholastic League announced a major shift in its media policy recently. And it could mean a little more air time for the Colorado High School Wolves and area teams.

The American Red Cross serving Texas Big Country welcomes new executive director, Robyn Flores. Flores will be based in Abilene, TX where she will oversee Red Cross programs and services for more than 750,000 people in 38 counties from Wichita Falls to San Angelo.
A group of Rising Star citizens, among those pictured above, turned out Monday evening to show their support for Police Chief Wayne Edgin. Rising Star City Council met that evening in a special called meeting to discuss the police chief’s resignation. The meeting was not open to the public for in person attendance due to COVID 19, the council agenda stated. See Page A 7 for more. Watch video on Eastland County Today FB.
