As of March 23rd El Clarin supermarket has officially been opened for one year. The little business is a family owned Mexican grocery store with a food truck outside. Leonor Hernandez is the owner of the store, and he says he wanted to open it so he could bring some more culture to Eastland. If y’all are wanting a little taste of a different culture, El Clarin supermarket is the place to go.

Due to the COVID-19 situation the City Wide Garage Sales and the Lyric Rummage Sale scheduled for March 28 have been canceled. We hope to reschedule at a later date.

MARCH 24, 2020 - The City of Eastland has been notified by county health officials of two confirmed COVID-19 cases in Eastland County at this time. As of this notice, no cases have been confirmed in the City of Eastland. The public should remain in their homes and avoid contact with others as much as possible. Everyone should follow all of the CDC COVID-19 guidelines, which are listed on the City of Eastland Website and Facebook pages.
