Feb. 28th is Old Rip Day in Eastland County
Celebrated annually to commemorate the TRUE FACT that Old Rip was taken out of the Eastland County Courthouse cornerstone, marking some 31 years he spent sealed in there. Publicity is going out, so we all should acknowledge the fact that OLD RIP lived sealed for a long, long time, but is brought out on this Special Day to mark his UNENTOMBMENT.
