Vaughn Marshall Ivie

Vaughn Marshall Ivie, 63, passed away November 8, 2022 at his home in Cisco, Texas after a long and arduous battle with brain cancer.

Vaughn was born on September 28, 1959 in Cisco, Texas to O. Marie and Paul Ivie. He enlisted at the age of 17 into the United States Navy on October 15, 1976 and there he served until April 22, 1982. He later received his GED and then went on to Paralegal school and graduated. He then went on to become a very skilled welder and continued to do that for the rest of his life.

Vaughn was married to Norma on October 25, 1986 and they raised one daughter, Crystal Smith.

Vaughn was an avid outdoorsman - he absolutely loved to hunt and fish. He has a deep and abiding love for God, Family and Country that only seemed to get deeper as he got older.

Vaughn was preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Marie Ivie, his brothers Joe and Marvin Ivie and his sister Paula Dunklin.

He is survived by his wife Norma, his daughter Crystal and son-in-law Vance Smith, four sisters-in-law: Ruth Ivie, Kathy Ivie, Doris Brown and Becky Smith; four grandchildren Gabi, Evelyn, Wyatt and Freya Smith; a few aunts and uncles as well as many nieces and nephews.
