Memorial Day Services at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco will be held Monday, May 31st at 10 AM. Conducted by Cisco Ex- GIs. Speaker will be Dr. Duane Hale of Cisco College and Curator of the Cisco Lela Latch Lloyd Museum. Flags will be placed out Saturday, May 29th at 8 AM weather permitting. Volunteers will meet at the Ron Graham Memorial Bldg. 500 Ave E in Cisco.
The Cisco Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their annual awards banquet on Tuesday, June 1st at 5:30-7:00 pm. With COVID precautions, the banquet will be different than in the past. This year a come and go banquet with awards being given out at 6:15 pm to Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, and New Business of the Year. Light hors d’oeuvres are being served. Casual dress. The price of tickets this year are $20 each or 6 for $100. Tickets are available by invoice, check, cash or Venmo. Call the Cisco Chamber of Commerce at 254-442-2537 to reserve your tickets today.
