On May 16, 2020 at approximately 12:45am Cisco Police Officer Cory Johnson was on patrol when he received a call of a suspicious vehicle parked at IH20 Storage. After arriving at the scene Officer Johnson located Jonathan McClaine, 32 of Russellville, Arkansas at an open door to one of the storage units. After investigation, Officer Johnson determined that McClaine was not a tenant of the storage facility and had unlawfully entered the unit without consent. Numerous items which were stolen from within were recovered. A search of the pickup that was occupied by McClaine was conducted and as a result Officer Johnson confiscated quantities of methamphetamine. McClaine was arrested for Burglary of a Building and Possession of Controlled Substance. Thanks to the help of a concerned citizen and a quick response by Officer Johnson, a crime was averted, and a burglar arrested.
