Ms. Tank’s Kinder Camp To Be Held July 11-20
Ms. Tank’s Kinder Camp (this is a FREE camp for students going into Kindergarten) Date: July 11-20 Tuesday’s and Thursday’s only Time: 1-4 p.m.
Varsity team had a great weekend at Lubbock Christian University team camp! We competed in the 3A/4A division and played 8 games and an overtime tournament in 3 days. Lady Loboes finished 4-4 and second place in the overtime tournament. We had some big wins over some great programs. These girls worked hard, played a ton of basketball, and had a great time team building. Thanks to all of the parents for all of the help. We are all excited for the season!

47th Annual Cisco Writers Club Contest Now Open
by Vera Day https:// twitter.com/VeraDayAuthor Cisco Writers Club sponsors a writing contest each summer. This is its 47th year. Should you enter contests in general and this contest in particular? Contests always flex your writing muscles, so that’s a plus. But beyond that, winners get bragging rights, their author names publicized, and, in this case, monetary awards. I’d shy away from contests that charge an arm or a leg, but the Cisco Writers Club contest fees are extremely reasonable at just $5 each.

Violet Daskevich, age 89 of Breckenridge, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 30th at St. Rita Catholic Church in Ranger.
