Carolyn Ann Rose Whittington

Carolyn Ann Rose Whittington went to see Jesus in the sunset of Dec. 1, 2021, of Olden Texas.

Carolyn is preceded by her parents George and Katy Rose, her husband William E. Whittington, son Gene Allen Whittington, sisters Rachael Rose Wakefield (Earl), Katy Lanell Rose Brummett (Barker) and Wanda Sue Burleson, twins.

Survivors are Richard Duane Whitington, wife Phyllis of Olden, William E. Whittington, Jr. of Weatherford; two grandsons, Patrick Duane, Richard Duane (Jett) Whittington of Olden; Brothers Price Duane Rose (Betty) Lake Leon; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Carolyn grew up in Ranger, Texas and graduated from Ranger schools. She graduated Hardin Simmons University with a Bachelors degree.

Carolyn worked for the phone company in Abilene and Mineral Wells and later for WalMart in Eastland. She enjoyed bowling and garage sales and her grandsons and family.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
