Cheryl Emmalene Murphy

STRAWN – Cheryl Emmalene Murphy, age 65, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 13, 2021.

A visitation was held Thursday, March 18th at Edwards Funeral Home from 5-7 PM. A graveside service was held 2:00 PM Friday, March 19, 2021 at Tudor Cemetery, officiated by Mike Orsini.

Cheryl was born March 24, 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas to Lester Theodore Badger and Estia Marie Atkins.

Cheryl is survived by sons, Jaxon Steadman and Steven Lynn Reed, JR.; step-sons, Richard Bruce Murphy and Stephen Russell Murphy; step-daughter, Coriann Murphy; 2 grandchil dren; husbands, Steve Lynn Reed, SR., Larry Lynn Steadman, and Steven Bruce Murphy; sister, Marcia Ann Current and husband Leland D. Current; nephews, Landon Alan Current and Jason John Current; sister-in-law, Shelly Valentine; nephew, Vincent Valentine; brother-inlaw, Kevin Dale Reed; and numerous maternal and paternal cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by parents; husbands, Dale Norman Griffin, son, Sean Anderson; and maternal Aunt Mady Atkins.
