Dale Griffin

Dale Griffin, 62 of Carbon, Tx, passed from this life on Saturday, August 14, 2021.

He was a loving husband, father, papa, uncle, and friend with a big heart and a kind soul. He never knew a stranger and would help anyone with anything and ask for nothing in return. He enjoyed hunting/fishing, his cows, and spending time with his family. Dale lived life in such a way that he could’ve stepped right into one of those westerns he loved to watch so much especially with that thick southern drawl that is unforgettable. He was a very knowledgeable person in just about anything. He will be loved, cherished and remembered forever. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Griffin and Ruby Hobbs and sister, Debra England.

Dale is survived by wife, Mary Griffin; sons, Seth Griffin, David Keele and Izaac Perez; daughters, Tessia Johnson and Chelsea Mata; 7 grandchildren, Tristian, Gryder, Madison, Keegan, Blaeen, Leighton, Ayden, and soon to be Gracelynn; and brothers, Calvin Griffin and Tommy McCoy; sister, Shelly Singleton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Viewing was Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home from 5-7pm in Eastland, Tx. Funeral services were in Gorman, Tx at the Oaklawn Cemetery on August 19, 2021 at 11am.
