James Gregg Garrett

James Gregg Garrett, 59, of Eastland, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in Eastland.

Funeral Service were held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 27, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland, Texas officiated by Mike Montgomery. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 PM, Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the funeral home.

Gregg was born on January 1, 1962 in Eastland to John and Glenda Johnson Garrett. He married Carla Casey on September 30, 1980 in Eastland. He worked as a mechanical technician for Colts Midstream and was a member of Olden Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his dad: John Garrett and brother: Grandal Garrett.

Survivors include his wife: Carla Garrett of Eastland; his mother: Glenda Garrett of Eastland; daughters: Trisha Arnold and husband Danny of Cisco and Kristina Richardson and husband Matthew of Eastland; grandchildren: Kasey Arnold, Janna Arnold, Carra Arnold, Kynle Arnold, Nettie Richardson, and Jordan Richardson.

Pallbearers are Kenneth Casey, Bobby Wells, Jerry Lanning, Mikey Thompson, Toby Sparkman, Bob Davis, Shannon Spruill, and Frank Skinner.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.

Service arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland, Texas.
