Janey Rae Linebarger

CISCO-Janey Rae Linebarger, 64, passed from this life to the next on Thursday, February 27, 2020 in Fort Worth.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 1 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Cisco. Interment followed in Oakwood Cemetery. The family received friends at Chambers Funeral Home, 203 W. 7th, Cisco on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 6-8 PM.

Janey Rae Brooks was born on April 4, 1955 in Gorman to Albert Noland and Nunnie Thelma (Lawson) Brooks. She married Stephen Linebarger on December 20, 1982 in Weatherford, and he preceded her in death on January 4, 2002. Janey had worked in the office at Wal-Mart, did accounting, and was a foster mother. She enjoyed sewing and quilting and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Janey is survived by her sisters, Diana Anderson and husband, Nick, Judy Brooks, and Jackie West and companion, Shannon Boyd; brothers, Albert Lawson Brooks and wife, Kathy and Jimmie Lynn Brooks and wife, Mary; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
