JoAnn (Margaret) West

JoAnn (Margaret) West, 76 of Eastland, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021.

JoAnn was born September 13, 1944, in Gorman, Texas to Joseph L. Dorsey and Winnie Lou Chambliss. JoAnn grew up in and considered herself a lifetime resident of Eastland, Texas. She attended school in and graduated from Eastland High School in 1962. JoAnn worked for several years at Goodyear, Pat Albus book-keeping and Don Bradshaw Accounting. In retirement she traveled abroad and spent her time quilting, sewing and worshipping with her Church family at First Baptist Church in Eastland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Darwin West and grandchildren Matthew and Fisher Fought.

JoAnn is survived by her daughters Debora Tedford and partner Junior Popeye Flores of Abilene, Tx, Melissa Petrey and husband Rick of Colville, Wa.; grandchildren, Blake Tedford & wife Jaime, Brandi Fought & husband Brandon, Greg Tedford & wife Amber, Samantha Petrey, Kaitlyn Petrey, Zoe Petrey and Allison Petrey; great-grandchildren, Billy Dean Tedford & wife Hannah, Christian Tedford, Autumn Fought, River Fought, Brinley Tedford and Boston Tedford; greatgreat grandchild Elizabeth Tedford; several nieces and nephews and countless friends that she cherished.
