Joyce Eileen Bloyd Duggan

Joyce Eileen Bloyd Duggan went to be with her Savior Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the age of 88.

Joyce was born New Year's Day, 1935 in Brownfield, Texas to Steven J. and Winnie L. Ely Bloyd. She graduated from Seagraves High School. She married Vernon Ray Duggan June 22. 1951, and the couple was married almost 64 years when he preceded her in death July 29, 2015. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Vernon.

Survivors include her daughter, Colleen Owings of Cisco; sons Carl Duggan of Kemah and David Duggan of Warren, Michigan; sister Joy Click of Andrews; brother Donald Bloyd of Daytona Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great grea grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Kimbrough- Jacobs Funeral Home, 300 W 9th Street in Cisco. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 12, 2023, at Mitchell Cemetery, Hwy 142 near Cisco, with Steven Bloyd officiating.
