Robert (Bob) Daskevich, 71 passed from this life to the next on Sunday, November 29, 2020.

Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Rita Catholic Church on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 10 AM with interment following at Evergreen Cemetery. The family received friends at Edwards Funeral Home, 211 Pine, Ranger on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 beginning at 6 PM with Rosary being said at 7PM.

Robert William Daskevich was born on April 29, 1949 in Ranger to Joseph William and Gaynell (Gideon) Daskevich Jr. He married Sherry Ann McCrum on April 27, 1973 in Ranger. Mr. Daskevich proudly served his country in the United States Airforce, and was a faithful member of St. Rita Catholic Church.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cars, especially his vintage Corvette and Mustang. But his biggest pride and joy were his granddaughters.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sherry Daskevich; son, R.W. Daskevich and wife, Amber; daughters, Staci Reyes and Robbi Gideon and husband, Scott; sister, Gay Ann Wolford and husband, Charlie; brothers, Ron Daskevich and wife, Marsha and Phillip Daskevich and wife, Cris; granddaughters, Elizabeth and Emma Daskevich and Erin and Rylan Gideon; brother by heart, Daniel Dunson and wife, Debbie; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
