Weldon “Butch” Pharr

Weldon “Butch” Pharr left this life Monday, April 19, 2021, at the age of 67.

Butch was born February 27, 1954 in Cisco. He graduated from Cisco High School. He later owned the Quick Way Convenience Store in Rising Star, and worked as a farmer and rancher. He loved buying and selling cattle, and taking care of his property. He loved having his grandkids over, and enjoyed a special relationship with his grandson, Jeremy Torres of Lubbock. He married Sidney Reeder, who preceded him in death in December, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sidney; his parents; a sister, Judy Dudley and a brother, Darwin Pharr. He is survived by his brother, Robert “Buster” Pharr and wife Carol of Cisco; sisters Linda Moss of Winnsboro and Jeanene Montgomery and husband Daryl of Panhandle; stepchildren Mikeana Bailey and husband Steve of Nolanville, Zachary and Marina Wilcox of Roscoe, and Mindy Torres of Elgin; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and nephew Caleb Pharr and wife, Loree of Cisco, who the family would like to thank for taking great care of Butch in his last days. Visitation was be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Kimbrough Funeral Home, 300 W. 9th Street in Cisco. Graveside services were 2:00 PM Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Borden County Cemetery in Gail, Texas, with Charles Chesshir officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Torres, Jake Jeffrey, Clayton Thomas, Caleb Pharr, Matthew Dudley, and Kevin Dudley.
