Allie L. “Al” Oliver

Allie L. “Al” Oliver, 66, of Flint, TX passed away at 14 home , 2018 on Friday after a , long December battle Fibrosis with Idiopathic . Pulmonary in Al Beaumont was born , July TX to 23 his , 1952 late Oliver parents and , George Sibyl (Mosby Nathan ) the Oliver majority , although of his he life spent in the Tyler area. He graduated from Robert E. Lee HS in 1970, where his athletic talent led to a scholarship playing basketball for Jacksonville Baptist College. Upon graduating from JBC, Al went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master’s Degree from Texas Eastern University (which later became the University of Texas at Tyler).

He left behind many nephews and nieces, as well as his loving grandchildren Jackson McElroy, Ryan McElroy, Mackenzie McElroy, Vivienne Haertling and Georgia Haertling.
