Augusta Mae McCoy

FORTWORTH- Augusta Mae McCoy, 96, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 14th, 2019.

Graveside was held at 11 a.m., Monday, Eastland City Cemetery. Visitation: 9-10:30 a.m. Monday, Edwards Funeral Home, Eastland.

 Augusta loved to play her keyboard, piano, and music in general. She enjoyed cooking and hosting friends and family for meals. She loved her family, but the greatest love of her life was the Lord. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

 Augusta was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny McCoy; son, Jimmy McCoy, Sr.; daughter, Betty; greatgrandson, Caden Boyle; and by seven brothers and four sisters.

 Her memory is left to be cherished by daughter, Barbara Green of Eastland; son, Jerry McCoy and wife, Elizabeth of Fort Worth; eleven grandchildren; twenty-six greatgrandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
