Eastland County Officials, elected in the November 2022 election, were sworn into office by Texas 11th Court of Appeals Chief Justice John Bailey Tuesday morning, January 3rd in the 11th Court of Appeals court room at the County Courthouse. Area lake levels, considerably lower than usual, have recently evened out due to moisture received in the region. The extended drought this summer caused levels to steadily drop until about a month ago. Lake Cisco, Lake Leon, and Lake Proctor all help provide water to costumers in Eastland County.
