Rising Star Man Killed in two Vehicle Crash
Texas Department of Public Safety reports that a resident of Rising Star Texas, Ethan Mark Harris, 19, died in a two vehicle crash on December 6, 2022 near Talpa, Texas in Coleman County. He was passenger in a Sierra pickup truck driven by Andrew Sosa Jr., 44, also deceased, of Sweetwater, Texas. Preliminary investigation revealed that the Sierra pickup was traveling east on US Highway 67. An International truck tractor towing a semi-trailer was traveling west on US Highway 67. The Sierra pickup drove on the wrong side of the roadway causing the International to strike it head on. Driver of the International truck tractor was uninjured. Weather conditions were clear and road conditions dry at the time of the crash. The crash was Investigated by: Trooper Tyler C. Moses, Texas Highway Patrol – Coleman; Assisted by: Sergeant Justin M.
