OLDEN VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT--Graduation Day!!! Started this journey for the SFFMA fire Chief academy in February after 4 separate weekend sessions and lots of homework we graduated today!!! Awesome academy and I highly recommend this program to anyone currently serving in a chief officer position or planning on obtaining a chief officer role!!! Great class and training

Eastland Ladies Community Bible Study (CBS), classes will begin August 31 for the 2022-2023 year and will kick off with refreshments and fellowship time at 9:30 a.m. in the FBC gymnasium, 405 S. Seaman in Eastland. Thereafter, we will meet each Wednesday from 10:15 a.m.noon.

We had 181 consignors and 54 buyers. Packer cows were $6 to $8 higher. Packer bulls were steady. The young replacement cows and pairs were steady. Market on steers and heifers weighing 500# and under were $8 to $10 higher. Market on steers and heifers weighing over 500# were steady. We had a shorter run of cattle today due to the good rain.
