Amy O’Brien-Glenn accepted the award for the Publisher & Staff of Eastland County Today for “General Excellence” in the State newspaper industry contest. The 2022 Texas Press Trade Show and Convention was held in San Marcus, Texas on July 28-30. Amy O’Brien-Glenn said it was an honor and is extremely excited about the future in community journalism & advertising. Eastland County Today is growing with its multi-media platforms that saturate the county and beyond.
Back to School Bash will be held at Myrtle Wilks Community Center in Cisco on Sunday, August 21 from 2-4 p.m.
The time everyone looks forward to will be here Saturday, Aug. 27th. It’s one of our great fish fries. The DAC’s fish fries are well known in this area. We will have fish, chicken tenders, french fries, slaw, potato salad, beans, hush puppies, and all the extras.
CONGRATULATIONS--Peggy Rylan celebrated her retirement from the Department of Protection and Family Services after 31 years.
