March 29, 2022 – Texas-Bank recently announced $100,000 has been donated to area fire relief efforts through the James and Dorothy Doss Foundation. Of that amount, $50,000 is being given to the Texas Big Country Red Cross Home Fire Relief Fund and then another $50,000 is being distributed among Volunteer Fire Departments in Brown, Comanche, Eastland, Erath and Parker Counties.

Olden monthly Musical and dinner will be held in the 16th of April. Come out for a fun evening if good food and great entertainment. On the menu this month we are serving barbecue sandwiches, potatoe salad pinto beans, and chips with drink and dessert. All for $6.00

New Carbon Christ Center Welcomes The Morris Evangelistic Team

New Carbon Christ Center announces the ministries of Rev. James and Doris Morris this Sunday, the 10th of April. Evangelist and Pastor, James received his call to preach when just a 7th grade student and has been faithful to that calling by traveling extensively in the states as well pastoring several churches, his most recent at Aubrey Assembly in Aubrey, TX. He and his wife are both talented musicians and singers. The congregation always enjoys hearing them sing, “It’s Me Again, Lord.” They will be ministering in the Sunday morning service. The church was burned in the Eastland Complex Fire but courtesy of the City of Carbon is presently using the Community Center located behind the Fire Station. Bible Study starts at 10:00 a.m. to be followed by Gospel music and ministry at 11:00 a.m. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the ministry of this dynamic evangelistic team.
